Darwin Eco System is definitely the place for those of you who enjoy finding secret gems when visiting cities for the first time, it is a unique location made for all those who look to have a calm spot to work during the day as well as a place to enjoy locally made food, beer, chocolate and art.
If you are currently located at the heart of the city it is going to be a little bit of a walk, most likely across one of the three bridges of Bordeaux. The walk however is beautiful so make sure to take in as much as you can.
Location, Hours and Events.
Darwin Eco System located at 87 Quai des Queyries is open every day starting at 8 am and closes around 11 pm, that being said they do host Wednesday DJ sessions meaning it stays open quite a bit later.
If you’re making your way there from the heart of Bordeaux I suggest you take a walk over Pont de Pierre or Pont Jacques Chaban Delmas, the walk is beautiful.
The Caserne Darwin
One of the main things to see in the Darwin eco system is La Caserne Darwin, it’s a large building that serves as a work space. It also has a variety of businesses, outside of coworking spaces for example offices, shops, cafes, and restaurants.

They have a massive supply of chocolate being made constantly and if you ask they will assist you with any questions you have.

The Darwin Eco System Brewery and Beer
in 2015, the Brasserie de la Lune set up shop on the right bank of the Garonne River, later they opened a shop in Darwin eco system. They only select local, organic ingredients. They harvest and malt the hops in the South-West of France. La Brasserie de la Lune offers smooth, light beers that will appeal to everyone

The skatepark at Darwin Eco Systems
